Sammen is an event series for owners and operators in Copenhagen hospitality. A pre-competitive space to meet people running businesses like yours, and to talk honestly about the work, including the challenges, the dreams, and the things that don't come up on the daily.

"So...I'm your boss now" - a crashcourse for new/future managers

This is an enclosed day of learning and workshops aimed to upskill
junior professionals, teaching them about managing people and
numbers in hospitality.
The class takes place in
Copenhagen, and contains 20 or so likeminded people from different
businesses and backgrounds.
As a participant, you can
expect to learn:
- How to handle the emotions and pressures of management, and what helps make the change from colleague/friend to person in charge easier.
- How to be accountable and accurate when managing staff cost, cost of goods, inventory, and ways to report on your new responsibilities.
- Tools and guidance on how to give feedback and communicate with those above and below you in your organisation.
- How to establish and maintain a great culture and build a workplace where people can be their whole self.
We recommend this course to anyone with an open mind who wants to step into a new role with some resources, tools, and confidence.
